Accomodation thread 2006.

Anyone scheduled to start a course at a London University in Sept 2006?

I was hoping potential housemates could network thru this thread.

Re: Accomodation thread 2006.

GOOGLY YOUR PISSING ME OFF

I thought you got into BRISTOL!! what happened to saying u were a graduate from kings and whats with then saying you only just got out of college. Do a stalker a favour :(

inshallah when I get my grades then I'm looking at UCL or kings, however most uni starters stay in halls for yr 1. you suck. :p

Re: Accomodation thread 2006.

1) I was made an offer from Bristol. Turned then down.

2) I concurrently held an offer from Kings, which I accepted.

I never said I was a graduate from Kings, you pulled that out of you a$s, like the rest of your post. I was I am scheduled to undertake graduate study at Kings, thats not even close to what you're saying.

Undergrad student, you're just a bacha. I'm talking MSc/MA...

Re: Accomodation thread 2006.

Why'd you have to turn into a bitch? sheesh. I don't think you qualify for PMS/PMT or any other premenstrual syndrome, and I sure as **** am not about to take rudeness from someone who accepts kings over Bristol.

Allegedly :)

Re: Accomodation thread 2006.

Nah man. All true ish.

Bristol is alright. But its a small(ish) place. I need the big city life.

What gwan with you any way? :D

Re: Accomodation thread 2006.

As the academic year draws closer in Sept, can we have such a stickied thread. It would allow Gupshup members to sort out student accomodation in the private sector much more easily via providing a medium for meeting potential housemates.

Re: Accomodation thread 2006.

Where in London u planning to settle? London Uni is in central i guess but i say you'd be better off staying away from central as its expensive. And mind you, the county of Surrey [South West london] is the most expensive .. in terms of living expenses, housing etc. Best thing to do would be to stay in a public hostel for about a weeks time and then go about the town looking for accommodation .. you'll find loads of adds on the high streets and nears trains stations and bus stations. If I'm around till then, will help inshaAllah ...

Re: Accomodation thread 2006.

Cool.

I'd like to stay within a 3 mile odd radius of Kings strand campus. That would be WC2 pretty much.

Expensive, sure, but it may prove to be the best deal.

Look forward to business.
