Okay, what would you like to throw instead?
Anday?
Chappal?
Ror'hay (pathar)?
Re: Accents
I am.indecisive when it comes to multiple choice questions. Just threw a naan at you for putting me in a bind.

Re: Accents
oh my lord the girl is sooooo beautiful though, obviously she really doesn’t sound like that but i’ve come across people that look so sophisticated but their accents are so unpolished and it does effect how they are seen. Particularly this Indian guy I know looks hot and dresses well but he says WTF in every other sentence and his english is horrible. I don’t mean to be prejudiced with his speaking skills but i’m only human and i am going to wonder why the word “****” has to even be used when the english language is so beautiful. I would be more than happy to help him pronounce words properly so he can have a more american accent rather than pronouncing the word wrap like “rape” with his strong accent and being misunderstood.
Re: Accents
I had read someone’s blog about a Desi food fight. I’d suggested using naan as armour. It was still on my mind so I suggested throwing a naan here. I think my advice is reasonable. ![]()

Re: Accents
I think both of us have too much time in our hands. I protested in that blog for omission of pulikachal, thohayal, aviyal and the like. I hear queer is also devastated at the omission.
Re: Accents

Re: Accents
My husband has a strong accent. He's a nice guy. So, try to look past it if you can.

Re: Accents
What about all the burgers in PK who have never left their street let alone city and have amreeekan accents. Sadly it's Accent= English in our society.
and if an accent bothers you.Do ur self and the other person a fav n dnt marry them. its not likely to change that much.
