APNA's conference and Shiv Kumar Batalvi Day
Academy of Punjabi in North America (APNA) is holding its annual Punjabi
conference is celeberating Shive Kumar Batalvi Day on Saturday May 8,
1999 in Noor Mahal in Virginia. Several scholars from all around the
world are expected to participate. Following is the program:
Two disucussion panels: 10AM to 3 PM
Seminar on Shiv Kumar: 5:30 to 7PM
Reception and poetic tributes to Shiv: 7 to 8 PM
Dinner: 8-9 PM
Satging of Loonan (Shive's play) and singing of his poetry: 9-12 PM
