This is kinda of very cool. I love this footage. I love watching something positive on Pakistan. The filmmaker stayed with an impoverished family in a lahore neiborhood. Think Slum Dog, but less dirty and with no violence, but still very interesting. There is a snippet of the documentary provided in the link.
edit: p.s. i didn’t post this in the video section because i feel kay yeh warna zaya ho jaiga. better chance of people sharing and experiencing this here.

My reaction to it is 
Not another so called art or philosophical movie focusing poor, slum area of another country.
These photographers don’t find anything better to do.

What, no rich people being chauffeured around in late model luxury cars? Going from one social event at the Gymkhana to another at the Marina Club? No mention of elite private schools? No scenes of ultra fashionable socialites attending a fashion show? Pfft.. according to most Guppies, this documentary is not showing the real Pakistan.

So my first post was not clear enough? I said similar thing before and now feel like a broken record. 
Don’t you think, in the name of art, these ‘reality’ based videos and photography is kind of old and boring themes?
To answer above post: Jimkhana/Marina club appointments and showing luxury cars are in one extreme and obsessing with ONLY the slum areas is another.
Glamourizing the people’s shortcomings and misery (Choti Choti Khushiyan) in the name of art is just a bit too cheesy. 
Having said that…please do carry on. Pak-one bro is sensing this may go on to irrelevant discussion.

No I don't mind at all. I think that you have a very valued opinion in that thread as well.
Personally I see the world drifting towards materialism and I would rather see the poor and follow the example of ghareeb nawaz than worry about what the rich or the middle class are doing. I am a Pakistani and I could have been that boy -- accident of birth should not dictate our futures.
