yes abuse waqar and afridi for lack of strategy and rightly so but when your skill set is so weak, lack of staregy can be blamed only that much
i know i have said this so many times and many guppies differ but i will repeat…, there is freakin nothing on the bench and that is the core problem. nothing, completely empty. all these amad waseems, mohd nawazs, junaids, zia ul haqs, sharjeels, khuraam manzoors, wahab riazs, azhar alis, all are pathetic.

how many times i said that pretty much everyone in our low-class first class cricket average below 40 … they shd average 60 in such low class cricket but they average below 40. how do you expect them to score in the international cricket for god sake.
no proper batsman, no fast bowler, no good spinner. situation is so bad that our team mgmt has to go back again and again for malik, afridi, sami and all these old players…there is a reason for that and now we are going for salman butt too
we pakistanis live in our own bubble, do not understand cricket and just make remarks. the bench is empty and none has potential to play international cricket. waqar will be thrown out soon and afridi will be trashed soon…and they shd be but the core of the problem is still there…there is nothing on the bench

you have a 82 year old PCB chairman ....and then we have najam sethi. before that we had ijaz butt...but why blame them only? the problem is far more deeper and structural..at grass root level. doubt will ever get addressed given deterioration of every institution. Cricket is changing but we are not. i guess, just live with it or hope for some miracle.
I would say, SL, WI and Pak will be at the same level, mostly pathetic across the board with periodic spark of excellence. Indians great in subcontinent but mostly pathetic outside India. Aus, SA, Engand and NZ will lead the pack.

Yes Windies is a better T20 team than us. Their batting has more spine.
With this pathetic batting (the top order sets the tone in T20) we were never challenging for the title from the outset. Only wishful thinkers would have believed otherwise.
