Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges
From your statement “Just because a person has been vocally saying that we need to support our brothers and sisters around the world - albeit - he stated this in military terms - whereas I would say this should be done through other channels … they are deemed inciters to hatred - because the regimes view such people as creating adversity within their own populous.”
Let us take a step back… If you are in a country and state that it is right to attack a friendly country and its citizens do you still think that this guy needs to be honoured for what he is doing. There are other means of protest which people are familiar with.
Let me ask you a simpler question – If this guy truly believes in what he said, why is it that he has to take an excuse of illness and fight extradition.
A simple example would be the person who killed Gen Dyer(of Jalianwallah fame). He stood up and owned the punishment. That is what bravery is and truly believing in your cause. Only a coward would take the excuse of illness to stop extradition.
