Please give me an insight to abu dhabi compared to Dubai, which city is better and which city would you prefer to live in?

^^ well in that case id jump from place to place.
I can't really comment on which is place better as i've only been to Dubai but i can tell you it was great whether it was the places i went to or the company i kept i don't know. (both were great)

Never been to either cities but Ive always heard Abu-Dhabi is a much better place to raise a family.
Dubai is the place to be if you're a rich, bachelor.

Abu Dhabi (CITY):
Positive(s): Secure Money Investments, less traffic problems, Not too many desis, , less international loan. Well built according to streets and mapping. Nice and cheaper Public Transportation System, Well built Mosques also in the City area.
Negative(s): Places to visit but not very entertaining, Not many good Desi Restaurants, Not good Airport and Airport facilities, Not very friendly Police, Too Much Humidity, Prostitute Business
Dubai:
Positive(s): A lot of desi communities, Strange maping but entertaining places. Good Desi Restaurants. Really Nice Airport and Airport facilities, friendly Police. Outlets of International Brand and HQ of IT and Construction Giants.
Negative(s): Black Money Investments, lot traffic (way more than Ants on their passage), credit stakes(over limited international loans). Too Much Humidity, Costly and un-timed Public Transportation, Prostitutes Business.

Abu Dhahbi has a lot of traffic, that day I wanted to go to Emirates Palace and it took us 3 hours just to cross the city to get to the corniche and Emirates Palace! it's crazy and the streets are so narrow!

aisha is right. too much traffic in Abu Dhabi now days. All dubai has decided to accommodate itself in abu dhabi… 
On serious note actually ppl for other emirates have come to abu dhabi as ppl above said money and jobs are here, specially now days Huge projects are coming up and under construction… so lets see. InshAllah things ll be find soon in UAE :k:

Bitterly hate both of them, sorry but i would prefer the company of some of the worst dacoits and badmashes in jail..... the topshots in both cities are scumbags. Sorry but i find it appaling how they treat people in bothe these Polis's.

Nah that happened in Pakistan (bohath dard hota hain us wakiyah ko yard kartai :()
But my relatives worked hard to build a lot of those states and were treated worse than if they had worked for criminals. When i stayed in Dubai all i saw shocked me and i realised a man like me cannot stand that sort of place.
True they may be Muslim states but i was treated with more respect by men who eat scorpions and lizards than by these fellow so-called Muslims.
I was even treated with scorn by fellow Pakistani's Huh i look back and think it was right to walk away form the job i was offered in Dubai. It's a greast place for indulging in pleasure but if like me you see most things this world has to offer before you were even 20 years old then such indulgence seems like the greatest of sins.
I hate to sound like an old man, but it's all true when you guys are older you will look back and realise what a waste these places are. You would weep if you knew how many gave thier lives for these states and died to make that rooftop playing ground across the hotel from you.
OK enough of this....................:( sorry i cannot help being this way. Hate to be a spoilsport

Abu Dhabi is alot like Islamabad it grows on you.. it's a nice place if you have a good social circle. Dubai is very busy and fast-paced.. both are just an hour away from each other.. hop back and forth!
