i’ve been searching and searching for some good abstract art online and i didn’t find much that i liked. i paint, but i don’t know what to paint these days. i need some inspiration! i’m looking for the kind of art that people hang up on their wall.
please post pictures of any abstract paintings you guys have done or any that you’ve found on the internet and you like. thanks!

i’m looking for paintings kind of like what i’ve already done. nothing where it looks like someone splattered random colors on a canvas.
Is that your work? If so very pretty stuff. It seems like you don’t want hardcore abstract art but more a combination of abstract and realistic/natural art…the pictures below are not really abstract but if you like them you can make them as much abstract you desire.
have you thought about surrealism? i mean, it can go really really weird, but at times it's very beautiful. let me find some pretty pictures that can be hung in a living room.
I think I have seen the a picture of the tongue in cheek sculpture, not sure where…maybe in my art course or online probably…not sure if it was his or someone else work. Anyway, I will look at duchamp work.

i LOVE surrealism! and thanks for posting the pictures, i love the first one. my parent's like my work but they don't like it when i get too "fantasy". especially my dad, he thinks good art is only art that's realistic looking lol.
