absent minded

I am becoming very absent minded :bummer: But weirdly not all the time.
With work related stuff I am NOT absent minded but with everything else i am.

I leave the room to do something and I forget why I left the room..I remember it after a few minutes.

I click on the “shut down” option on the PC and forget to wait for the other dialogue box to appear where you have to click again :bummer:

I forget if I have prayed or not and end up praying again.

I forget ki sibling asked me to help him with his HW and he has to remind me again :hinna:

I want to discuss something on GS and by the time I click on “new thread” I forget what I wanted to talk abt:hinna:

Why is this happening and how to Stop this and go back to normal mode?
Has it ever happened with you?

Re: absent minded

Hmm Perhaps you have a lot on your mind right now. Sometimes we can lose focus if we have a glaring stressor that is always present on our minds. Maybe taking care of that stressor can help you pay more attention to what your doing.

Just reflecting on when did this behavior start, what changed in your life that lead to this, and this can help you identify the source of where this behavior may be stemming from. This will help you be better able you to take care of it :)

Hope you feel better soon.

Re: absent minded

stress! unfortunately im like that all the time now..deal with it now while ur in the early stages..before u end up like me! someone will be talking to me in front of me..and i wont hear what they are saying my mind will be somewhere else!

I have the same problem when i’m really busy with something, mostly during exams…eat almonds and other dry fruits…it strengthens your memory :rotato:

Re: absent minded

If too much focus is placed on the unimportant the result may be absentmindedness of the important in life.

Re: absent minded

It is a really serious problem which needs attention as you need to consult physician and surgeons so they can suggest you better medicines which will help you to recover from this disease.
