what kind of abs and gluteus (hipp) maintaining exercise are effective after C-section?
Re: abs and gluteus excersices after delivery
once your doctor gives you the go ahead.....you can do just about anything. If you are consistent, your form is good and you are eating low fat foods...then anything can be effective.
I would start off slowly of course and gradually work your way up.
My suggestion to you........start with yoga and/or pilates and light cardio such as a brisk walk (power walking). Eventually, if you feel up to it and your body can handle it you can start strength training (light weights and working your way up with time), and add a more intense form of cardio.
yoga and pilates btw...focuses on the core so you will inshAllah see results within 6 weeks if you keep up with it.
buy some exercise dvds or take them out from the library...that way you know you're getting a full workout and also you don't have to leave the house
