His songs are total crap now, and so are his videos. Typical un-innovative stuff. This video - pardaisi - what the hell is wrong with this man these days?
Re: Abrar losing his touch
I agree.
Maybe his wife casted a spell on him
in order 2 keep female fans off him ![]()
Re: Abrar losing his touch
I don't know the about the videos, but the song lyrics are just pathetic. I'm tired of billo GT road tay, ajja ney bajja cycle tai, type of songs. Shehzad Roy and Ali Zafar used the same approach with channo & Saali, but it had some uniqueness to it.
Re: Abrar losing his touch
I agree PCG. I was dissappointed by his Mahi, Pardesi, and Nachan Mein Oday Naal videos. Shreekan wasn't too bad.. He needs to work harder on producing better music like he did in his malo-maal album.
Re: Abrar losing his touch
i don't think that he is losing his touch...pardesi vdo was really nice along with the lyrcis n the whole concept of it wasnt too bad...same goes for shareekan nu
it jus depend on yourself wat u wanna see..n wat u will like...
agar pardesi, shareekan nu, nachna mein ohdey nal is not been liked by ppl..then i dnt no wat other way can he perform his songs..
buh i think abrar is gr8 n sings well..i enjoy the vdo's
Re: Abrar losing his touch
He sure is because is not bringing variety in his songs. How many albums one can listen of almost same music, same lyrics and same singing style?
Re: Abrar losing his touch
his albums are always full of a pile of crap, but there is always one song that stands out and would be completly awsome, like nach main oday naal, cycle, nach punjabn, billo etc.
anyway his next album is coming out this month and will release in india too.
Re: Abrar losing his touch
one trick pony just became yesterday's news
Re: Abrar losing his touch
He is still the hottest ticket for live concerts. Haven't heard his new songs lately. But the bhangra beats kinda sound all the same to me, anyway.
Re: Abrar losing his touch
His latest album was crap because music went into the background after that hospital thing. Otherwise his previuos albums always had at least one or two super duper hit songs.
Re: Abrar losing his touch
Come on, the videos aside Nachaan Main Ode Naal was pretty much the standard Abrar fare! And yeah, he's one guy who can carry off a concert on only his own star appeal.
Re: Abrar losing his touch
his video's r gr8 n he sings well..wat more u guys want?
Re: Abrar losing his touch
Punjabi bhangra beats will all have some kinda similarity to them, as far as doing same kind of music well pretty much every musician falls in that category, musicians belong to a certain genere. Ali Haider have been singing neo filmi pop from ages now, he tried his hands on something new with Jadoo and failed big time and came back to what people want to hear from him. Abrar will stick to his proven formula of selling music, why try to do something inovative ie his already selling records big time. That would be trying to fix something that aint broke. His concerts sell big time, he has sold more records that any other Pakistani solo artist or band. What more does he need. In the end it's not all about making quality music, it's about making popular music. Music that sells. Abrar gave Punjabi music a new touch and now he is sticking to what he does best and the music that people associate with him. Pardesi is a typical Abrar song. In every album he puts a slow track to balance things out. Be it Bheega December or Rang Rang. Then we have the masala tracks like Nachaan Main Oday Naal Naal, Boliyan Pa Kay etc. People love him and those tracks and he will continue making music along those lines until his proven formula turns old with people and he stops selling records.
Re: Abrar losing his touch
Abrar's body of work over the past 10 years is such that he can afford a few down years, there is simply no match Billo, Preeto, GT Road, Assan Janna mall-o-mall, I can love you more than anyone, etc.
Chill out people. Do you perform at a high level every day in your jobs?
Re: Abrar losing his touch
TUMS, I can point out quite a few albums made in Pakistan where MOST of the songs were optimum.
In Abrar's albums, you'll find 1-2 good songs. That's it. And this last album...I can't name one song that I even bother to remember.
