Re: about getting married
It took me 7 years to say yes to marriage… I was sooooo scared.. It scared me that I would have a man around me all the time, whom I would have to look after … I have always feared failure … and I feared that if I marry a traditional pakistani , I will be doomed … i will be a failure wife perhaps ..
But then after my nikkah and before ruksati, I got to know my husband really well … and realized that like in any relationship, I would have to put in efforts , its a give an take … I learnt to be a good wife , still learning … and he takes care of me like a mother protects a child … I now realize , all my fears were meaningless and I just freaking wasted my time whereas I should have gotten married long time ago :hinna:
