Re: about books

^ sounds great and very informative. I also would like to read all of these books, and I will InshAllah.

Peer-e-Kaamil (S.A.W) novel by Umera Ahmed

it is just brilliant, the topic is great and the way of writing and the method of constructing the story. the facts shown in the book were heart & soul shaking. Many among us dont think about this and commig life but only consider it as to have the luxeries and to relax after workiing hard for gathering these luxeries. The only right path starts from ALLAH (subhana wat aala) and ends at his beloved last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (salalaho alaihe wasalam). Not as many words in mind to give the compliments.

Re: about books

^ Peer-e-Kaamil (S.A.W) is my favorite novel its really very touchy novel

Is it availaible in Urdu or English also?

Re: about books

its urdu version is Tareekh Ibn-Kathir(kaseer)

Re: about books

my favorite book (at the moment) is "The Well-Trained Mind (A guide to Classical education at Home)" by Susan Wise Bauer and Jessie Wise.

Re: about books

have anyone ever read Bayan-ul matloob urdu version of Kashf-ul mahjoob by Syed Ali Hajweri.this is abt sufism.though i like some of its contents but i think its difficult atleast for me.

Re: about books

^Yeah it's difficult for me too.....you have to ponder for hours on a sentence to grasp it.

Re: about books

i had read a few books in terry pratchetts discworld series and enjoyed the humor. now i am starting from the first book. if you like scifi and british humor you might like it too. i am more of a fiction, scifi and fantasy reader.

Re: about books

^My husband is a great fan of Terry Pratchet, he's got almost all the disworld books and maps, I read only the first one and didn't like it.

Some of the books that you people have mentioned are available here;
