A mother can’t bear to see her child in pain. It hurts her as well. So how can Allah, who is said to love us.more than a mother, bear to watch us suffering…sometimes for years?
Does it not hurt Allah to see us in anguish?
if it is said that Allah doesnt burden a soul more than it can bear…then why.are there people who were once sane and have now gone mad from trauma/depression…why are.there some who commit suicide?
[2:185] 'God desires ease for you, and desires not hardship' (2:185);
[94:6] 'Truly with hardship comes ease' (94: 6);
[65:7] 'God will assuredly appoint, after difficulty; easiness' (65:7);
Suffering can befall us or it might be result of our own choices and actions. Suffering is a very powerful tool for learning (can even be a blessing in disguise), but our 'instinct' to avoid pain can make that process crazily complicated, as we invent twisted ways to avoid suffering that ultimately brings us do much more which at times makes things worse than better.
I am suffering at the moment from a major illness but I do not complain, I see it as a cleansing of my sins. I knw I have sinned in the past, so whilst in pain I do nothing but ask for forgiveness. Also I knw that the prayers of the sick are almost always answered especially when made for other ppl, so always I ask forgivness for my self and then health and healing for the sick around me.
I dont knw if this is a good example or not but one of my cousins could not conceive for 8 years after her marriage and she was very much troubled, then one day an aunt of mine was going through a lot of sufferring trying to deliver twins of her own, so I said to her while your in pain pls also remember my cousin who is unable to concieve and make dua for her, which she did there and then and by the will of Allah in exactly one month my cousin was pregnant and now has a beautiful baby boy. Obviously cant say that it was necessarily my aunts dua that got her pregnant but who knws it might have been.
Also agree with the Pagluu. sufferrinf helps us to learn and be humble.
One must understand the difference between ‘God-made’ and ‘Man-made’ things. Today if we are suffering from something that is due to 'Man-made things and by our “freedom of choice” not by Almighty Allah. Almighty Allah is The Most Rahman and Raheem as mentioned in below hadith:
**The Book Pertaining to the Remembrance of Allah, Supplication, Repentance and Seeking Forgiveness (Kitab Al-Dhikr)’ of Sahih Muslim Haidth No. 6471
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger as saying that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, thus stated: I am near to the thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My Heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near Me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards Me, I rush towards him. **
Moreover, if someone suffer than I think (as many of us stated above) its a reminder for us to come back to zero point. Zero point means to “Book of Allah” and “Sunnah” of our beloved Prophet Muhammad
Great question. Something surely doesn't make sense in this "he is merciful, he loves you, but he will burn you forever if you dont obey" threat.
If you feel so bad about being burn forever then why dont you obey him, he loves you and thats true cause he has you so much and that prooves his love but if you dont follow him than you do deserve punishment, its simpe and sensible if you think about it with a cool mind:).
Great question. Something surely doesn't make sense in this "he is merciful, he loves you, but he will burn you forever if you dont obey" threat.
You seriously have a problem that needs to be treated.
The problem you have which shows repeatedly is that you never had any intention, courage, or desire to learn what is said in Islam.
Allah in Islam never said he is merciful despite you openly and knowingly deny his commands or deny his commands but do not repent. No.
You have no clue what mercy, love or forgiveness means what is described in Quran or by hadiths... the major sources in Islam to draw any conclusion.
These words or attributes to Allah mean that Allah waits for the person to acknowledge his/her mistake and ask for mercy and is willing to grant that when asked.
**Hence, the forgiveness or mercy is not something you can demand or expect without doing something to show you are willing to change your acts and sincerely do repent.

Next time you have an itch to make these kind of comments, take a deep breath and think.
