didnt some bigshot christian leader endorse Guiliani? i think toughness in WOT is the deciding factor for the christian vote. right now they endorse Fred Thompson, but hes unlikely to win the nomination. Thereafter it will be who wants to bomb the bearded folk the most .

agreed seminole, the more I hear the religion shop keeprs speak in any country the more I admire the vision of the founding fathers and the seperation of church and state.

You have to look at the true beleifs of the Catholic Church...they truly feel that abortion is murder so a politician who will fight to uphold the legality of abortion is, in the eyes of those beleivers, a murderer. Thats why its such an issue for them.

right, and why shouldnt it be? I think its perfectly valid for someone to care more about abortion than say green-issues or the price of oil.

elections have been decided on more trivial stuff, and foreign policy isnt always the foremost of people's concerns.
