The worst thing a child can go through is not to be loved and cared for. I read somewhere a while ago that children that are not hugged or loved in general as babies live considerably shorter lives than children that are constantly cuddled and have satisfying homes. If you can not provide that, may be it's better to murder your child before she takes her first breath than to torment her into living a life she didn't ask for.

If you didnt think of those things before having intimate relationship & sex ....why should you think now?
And then a pregnant stage or menstruating stage woman due to surge of hormones are not in her best of judgement .In matters of life & death how about if i became judge of your life in a psychologically impared state of mind either due to psychosis ,drugs alcohol, depression stress etc etc.
Whats wrong with Adoption ?
Of course medical reasons of Abortion Rh incompatibility ,genetics disorder, placental abnormality etcetc. is genuine reason .
But I realize that I am not the one to decide that. No one has the right to take a life, or decide someone's future. I just get very sad when I see parents that bring kids into this world and forget they have a responsibility.**

Hayaa auntie, so what is that can be done? Should we have some sort of exam that a couple has to take and pass before they can have babies? How do we make sure that people who are giving birth are not invalids. This is a downward spiral that we are trapped into, a continuous decay in family life and human morals and behavior is the cause of this. Parents will get better as soon we get better individually. So putting chastity belts on people, or use abortion won't solve the problem, would it? I dont know what I am rambling on and on about, just that, we need some way of making sure that kids are raised well, and I dont see any.
If only things could be so simple. There are many couples in the world today that use abortion as a means of gender selection. If they have female children, they want male and if they have male, they want females. If you happen to be a fetus of the "wrong gender", out you go..... sad, huh

Yes it is very sad. I have four children, and each time I got just what I wanted: healthy!!! So I felt very lucky, as not all babies are born that way.

I must disagree with you on this, as I have known people who were not loved or wanted by their parent's and have gone on to live very happy lives with families, children, career's of their own. Getting over your mother or parent's not wanting or loving you is a lot easier to get over than death!!!
