The story neither provides the name of the Pakistani, nor the name of the conference, or when it took place.
I personally detest this strange attitude by Muslims who seem desperate to look to science for validation of beliefs. What is the need for it? Is obedience to Allah SWT not enough for us?
As far as I am concerned, there need not be any physiological reason to wudhu at all. Whatever Allah SWt has commanded as mandatory is what we should do. We need not seek to justify it, least of all with what are likely mere rumour and fabrication.
