Re: Abdullah tells Musharraf to apologize for his crimes
LAHORE: Former president of Supreme Court Bar Council Aitzaz Ahsan demanded the government to register case against former President Gen (rtd) Pervez Musharraf under Article-6 of the constitution.
There is no need of parliament resolution or any judicial order for the purpose, he said.
Aitzaz said Musharraf’s confessional statement has necessitated action against him.
Those who are holding Musharraf trial as impossible, they are trying to save him, he said.
Re: Abdullah tells Musharraf to apologize for his crimes
Silaaj, your analysis is correct.
Jang group is backing PML-N with biased reporting. When Musharraf came, politicians distributed mithai....all of them are available on videos....In fact, Musharraf's time was much better than today just like people remembered Zia duing BIBI and Nawaz tenures. Zia controlled prices with iron fist. Businesses were running smoothly too... These corrupt politician's invite Army.
Nothing to worry for Musharraf. Saudi's are pro Pak Army. They have secret pact to protect holy land, kingdom and rulers. They know Pakistani politicians are corrupt.
I wonder had Aitzaz Ahsan on PM seat, would have initiated a case against Mush? Mush has set Pakistan 100% subservient of Uncle Sam and SA. The way they are interfering in Pakistan's affairs indicate that the country is just a Colony for them. Military will never allow Pakistani government to antagonize Uncle Sam and SA. For that matter neither Qazi Hussain Ahmad of JI or IK can do anything about it.
Can you prove how dictators times were better? What Pakistan is suffering today is due to the dark policies of dictators. What ever dictators make decisions, its impact is felt after 5 to 10 years and perpetuate that effect depending upon type of decision they have made. There is a thread opened "Decade of Zia's Dark Rule". write there what ever you want to write in praise of malown shetan. I will respond with proof how he runined the future of coming generations of Pakistan.
Re: Abdullah tells Musharraf to apologize for his crimes
Aitzaz Ahsan has a history of favors and close connections with Pakistan Army during Zia's time. He only jumped into PPP after Zia's death. He is not clean.

Yes, the way they are controlling Zardari certainly makes me believe that. HOWEVER, I would much rather call for the trial of a war criminal and a corrupt dictator, than cheer for the jackasses in power right now, who want to block his trial just because their own corruption and incompetency gets exposed. You should do the same. Pakistani Army, external powers, or SA shouldnt be allowed to make 'our' decisions.

That is the world-famous line used by all of our failing politicians/democracies, in order to mask their ineptness. They argue how the impact of the previous military ruler's policies is being felt now in the form of their failure.
The country lost more than $10billion in forex reserves in a matter of 3 months, after the installation of the current government. Impeccable timing, I must say!
Those who have lived through Gen Zia's rule, as well as Musharraf's rule, can testify to the fact that life was peaceful and better, compared to any civilian rule we have had. The only people who support our politicians are those who are actually party members. You will hardly find any independents supporting these goons.
Bottom line is, no matter how loud Sharif, or Aitezaz can yell, Musharraf will not be tried, because he has the army's backing, maybe not in a direct sense, but surely as a matter of pride, the army will not allow thugs and thoroughly corrupt people like Aitezaz and Sharif to call for Musharraf's trial.
Re: Abdullah tells Musharraf to apologize for his crimes
Very true Silaaj
Our Army has true spirit of Islam. When you reach a higher post, decisions have to have to be taken differently, based on strategic studies, international relations, intelligence reports and personal wisdom keeping in view larger national interest. Common people call Musharraf “America ka pitho” but they don’t know realities. I am not saying all decisions are accurate but still these politicians are more corrupt than our Army. There were moles of foreign governments working close to Musharraf (his aides) who made him take wrong decisions on some issues.
No one in PPP asks president Zardari how he made such fortune. No body knew him as business person, industrialist, agriculturalist, etc. Not only Zardari but 80% others in our assembly.
The ones who created sugar crisis should be hanged first.
In Zia’s time sugar remained between Rs. 9~11 per kilo. Prices were most stable in his time. In fact, with his iron fist, we made nuclear weapon secretly in 1984. When I saw Dr. Qadeer interview in Islamabad Tonight program two day ago, it seemed he had high regards for him and military leadership in those days.
You can see life of Ijaz-ul-Haq. Simple, no industries or empire. Has a house in Pindi and nothing much. I know them. Zia’s elder brother (Izhar-ul-Haq) had BATA shoe store in Saddar, Pindi next to Unique Bakery. Whole family is simple.
Zardari and Nawaz are not good at all. Both have understanding not to poke nose in each other matters in center and punjab. This understanding is only to give them time to strengthen their financial positions and expand business empires. And Nawaz attitude with common Pakistani public was also not good while in Saudia. When he used to visit Majid-e-Nabvi for Friday prayers.
So why did they give refuge to Nawaz Sharif for few years (not days, months… but years!!)???
To me Saudis joined Britishers when they gave refuge to our criminals, Britishers are a step ahead in being our enemy, they gave citizenship to mafia leader!
Re: Abdullah tells Musharraf to apologize for his crimes
Saudia gave Nawaz Sharif refuge because it was in the interest of Pakistan. If Nawaz remained in Pakistan, more political pressures would come from Western governments not letting Pakistan run smoothly. Economic sanctions just like Burma (although you can’t compare Aung San Suu Kyi’s dedication with Nawaz Sharif as she comes from a middle class family). Musharraf never wanted bloodshed (he could have hanged many) but avoided that. Pakistan had lots of development and foreign investments between 1999 and 2006.
If Nawaz Sharif was right, he should have removed Musharraf while he was in Pakistan. I consider it a slap on Army’s face when our COAS (in uniform with fulll military honors) is meeting his Indian counterpart in Sri Lanka and is left naked.
I 100% agree Britain is against Pakistan. It keeps political pets from all over the world in London. Be it Russia, Chechnya, Pakistan, Africa or South America. The reason Altaf Hussain became mafia was due to the fact that Sindhi rich landords never recognized existence of this lower middle class community, and people used to call them Hindustora, Matarwa, Kiliar, etc. Not allowing them admissions, discriminating them in day to day life, etc. Same Bhutto did to Mujeeb-ur-Rehman (Bangal) resulting in division of Pakistan. Mujeeb won the majority. Bangalis were poorer than notoriously rich landlords of West Pakistan.
Bhutto said Bangali’s “Soor Kay Bachay” in this video. He tries to save himself asking (putting blame on) innocent public that he took decision with their support. Watch the expressions.
