Are you arabic? Why not just use the word gossip or its equivalent in Urdu?

I dont understand the need to use Arabic words when you don't need to. Doesn't make you any more religious.

There is a difference between the english word "gossip" and the arabic word "gheebah". they are not equal.

Gheebah is backbbiting NOT gossip.

Secondly one should be aware that gheebah is bad even if you talk about someone behind their back and it is something you say that you would not say to their face OR something that might even be true but person you are talking about would not like it if he/she was present.
