Pretty awesome!
A 12 year old girl in Ethiopia was abducted by 7 men and they were beating her up as they were trying to force her to accept one of them for marriage!!!
She was missing for a week when the lions found her…they scared off the 7 men and stood guard by her till a rescue team found her, she was with them for half a day!!!
**“Stuart Williams, a wildlife expert with the rural development ministry, said the girl may have survived because she was crying from the trauma of her attack.
“A young girl whimpering could be mistaken for the mewing sound from a lion cub, which in turn could explain why they didn’t eat her,” Williams said.”

^That would make sense! But it is still pretty awesome to be rescued by lions!
On a side note, 70% of Ethiopia’s marriages are said to be abductions! What a sad world we live in
