*Get down on the floor and do those damn crunches, monkey! The "ab-machines" are all a scam. Really. People, That Is All.*

cocogorilla over n out : )
Lie down on your back, with legs extended, and lift them off the ground about 6 inches, hold, then release. Make sure you place a cushion under your behind, or else you'll hurt your back. No need for any apparatus.
hold, then release...........WHAT? ewwwwwwwwwwwww you daawg.

Yeah man, it's called excercise :)
Coco, I never get too excited about these machines, as I have noticed that they work as much as a person’s own resolve about shaping up. Pick any machine & in principle it should work out fine but you will see different people will have different results.
So, if you are excited about working out then visit the gym and use all of their ab gadgets to see which one gets you going the most. Then keep going there for a few weeks and keep using the same machine, if you like it enough to go every day & use the same thing for a few weeks, it’s safe to say that when you will buy it, you will actually use it, enjoy it and keep it!
I bought this Ab Wheel and IMO it’s a good thing to start with.
^ Get a pair of wheels from junk yard. Grab broom and break in two. Got yourself an "AB WHEEL"

done that Fret, thanks dude. thats the first thing our sensai told us to take a punch in the gut hehe.
yeah, i guess sit-ups would work well compared to all the ab machines.
I would recommend using a swiss ab ball to do your stomach crunches on, makes you strengthen your core stability thus achieving better results. Although some people do find it hard to balance on them, its all about personal preference at the end of the day.
Good luck.
