In my opinion, I've seen Fob girls being very judgemental(not good). But then again, if she's open to ideas, fun, and a good person, then whats the problem.

Well i can't get along with fob girls. Don't know it's not i am totally gora type despite being growing up outside Pakistan whole life. Now, lets not get judgmental about fob girls coz they can be smart and open minded like girls here. Depend upon girl to girl..each one is unique and different. Now girly man..your job is to find out what her ideas about society, life and her perspective of people growing up here in west vs there in Pakistan. From there..you can tell if she would be judge your sister as liberal.

For example, couple of our own family friends which we have known them for long time every since we migrated to canada. They still think we are very liberal family. Though, we are like any other Pakistani family which resides here. Also, i think may be they are saying this..coz we are open minded family.

i dont think any difference between fobs and abcds.

if one is educated enough she/he can easily adjust in american society. fobs are more willing to adopt change.

yeah its not about categorizing girls in a fob v. ABCD kinda thing. each woman is an individual and her personality sometimes may matter more than her upbringing. there are some really liberal girls in pakistan and very conservative girls in the West.

also why are your sister and wife-to-be clashing. you're the one marrying the wife, not your sister...so as long as you get along with her, enjoy her and and can live your life with her, your sister's opinion doesnt matter..aaah brown boyz..."i have to see what my mom, my chachi, my sister, the maid at my house thinks of the girl i'm marrying"

if their views clash so much make sure they dont interact with each other much..except maybe hey, what's going on, how're the kids. i dont even see why a sister in law and ur wife would HAVE to BFFs anyway?

This is not about brown boys. Rather this is part of our love and care to our sisters and mother so we get their perspective as well. I personally love my sisters and i do appreciate their input which i get really good perspective in a girl anyway.
