I just saw part of it, looked really good, they showed Punjab University. I am going to record the rerun from the LA channels and put it up on sohnidarti soon, so that those who missed it can watch it.

Wesay, this shouldnt be in Shor Sharaba... Plenty of nice discussions about it can go on in General about the topics discussed in this one.

I m watching it right now on ABC. 11:30 PM Pacific Time.

NightLine : Pakistan On The Edge with Ted Kopple.

Just finished watching the program. Its sorta of anti-pakistan and not something you would want to save and show to the people on a pakistani website.
It left the viewers with a negative image of Pakistan. It portrayed Pakistan as a country battling with Islamic fundamentalism and secularism. And the fundamentalism was shown to have taken its grip in every aspect of life in Pakistan from MMA govts, in NWFP/Baluchisatan and Army. It also sowed Paksitan as some sort of time bomb just waiting to be ignited by the fundamentalist influence and the nuclear weapons that paksitan posesses makes it the most dangerous country in the world. -- Thats according the correspondent for Nightline in Pakistan.

Yeh Punjab university was shown so was Red Light district in Lahore and all the madrassahs in NWFP etc.

Bottom line: there was nuthing new shown in the program except putting a stamp on the statement that Pakistan under the grip of fundamentalist Islam and possessing nuclear weapons makes it the most dangereous country in the world (For US interests in the region ofcourse :D)
