Judging from the New President’ Speech, he was sending a clear message to the Washington Establishment to serve the people rather than special interests! and in a way Obama said the same when he got elected that he was going to limit the influence of Lobbyist and bring change…only significant change Obama brought was that people elected Donald Trump!
I am in the boonies currently, a totally red county and a red state. Most of the people were emotional that he won, commenting on how pretty ivanka and Melanie were. One of them said Barron looks like a dork, but then other said, yes but he is a billionaire dork. And everyone was like Yes Yes Yes, whenever Trump mentioned in his speech Bible/God/Christian stuff
Oh and lot of comments about Hillary. They said it looked like she is about to cry.
As for Obama, they were pretty neutral. Didn’t say much. But they seemed to miss Biden
The irony is the people who supported him are the ones who are going to get hurt the worst by his policies. Repeal of Obamacare will effect them, they are most likely to go under when interest rates rise and they will be the ones affected the most by rising inflation. When they put tariffs on Chinese goods, its not Wilbur Ross who shops at Wallmart and Dollarama.
