, ladies does anyone know where to shop for abayas " with quality fabric" in Madina and Jeddah? I like abayas with pure breathable fabric having lots of flare. NOT looking for " jhilmil" type with Neely peelay stones.
I’ve seen abayas in Tayaba centre, adjacent to Masjid e Nabwi 
. Their fabric is not of high quality. Also checked Movenpick centre, they have few shops .
If, anyone could help in this regard. Jzk.

In Jeddah you can check Abaya in Bani Malik and Haraj. There are scattered shops of Abayas basically. Its way long back when we were there things would definitely have changed but I can ask from my friend and would let you know about Jeddah.

Yes, I've noticed that abaya shops are scattered in Jeddah. Saw some shops on Thalia Street but mostly were overpriced and full of Kam. Corneesh, Jumjum and Mahmal also did not have much.

In Makkah if you go behind Safaa towers you will find the best priced Abaya's and gifts inshallah:)

U need to go to the old area of balad.... Thats where they all are... Near the gold shops

Some shops in Taiba Center had pretty good stuff. If you cant find good abaya in the vicinity of Masjid, I am not sure where else in Madinah can you find good stuff.
Sumo, ive bought one from Alesayai in Makkah towers. Ill look for Safaa towers as well.
Khawa, if only i had known. I was staying in Red Sea hotel almost in Balad this feb. Inshallah, ill look for it again.
Tlk bhai, abayas are good in Tayyaba center but not of good quality fabric i am looking for, to wear in scorching heat over here in Pak.

SF, dont they (abayas) come in two syles? One are stand alone type and the other is like a gown that you can wear on top of your clothes?
^ yes, they do. I guess the ones worn over the clothes are more popular.

I bought mine from Mecca actually in the mall attached to Hilton towers - and you can bargain good prices.
^right abt Movenpick. I guess, Hilton towers is also refered as Macca tower.

I stayed in the Hilton and there was a shopping mall attached; i enjoyed their abayas.
Is this the same mall where u have a food court on the third floor and debhnams on the lower one?
Can anyone also suggest, what kind of fabric to buy if we want to get it stitched here in Lahore? A lightweight and very flowy material.
