in the olden days when there were wars people used Spear (Neza; Bhaala) as one of the common Weapons, and sometimes during the fight when one is stabbing his enemy the edge of the spear (Nok-e-Neza; Bhaaley ki nok) is broke and left deep inside his body, which causes unbearable pain and eventually leads to his death.
Agar Neze ki nok toot ke kisi ke seenay mein reh jaati hai to yeh intehaai shaadeed Dard ki alaamat hai.
Is shair mein un yaaron ka zikar hai jis pe shayer ko bahut bharosa tha, aur jinho ne shayer ko dhoka diya jiske natije mein shayer ko maut ki saza hui/ya uska qatal hua (Maqtal kehte hai us jaga ko jaha ke kisi ko phansi di jaati hai ya jaha ki kisi ka Qatal hota hai)
jab shayer ko maut ke ghat utara jaaraha ta uske yaaroun ke chehroun ke muskurahat thi jiski jhalak shayer ne marne se pehle dekhi aur yeh muskurahat ya tabassum shayer ke dil mein Neze ki nok **(Edge of the Spear) ki tarha chub gayi... **Zair e kafan (under the shroud) se muraad hai "Marne ke baad bhi"
the bottom line is that, the poet have had immense pain due to the people whom he loved and trusted, were happy when he was being murdered. and this thing hurt him even after his death....
