khawaboun ke chanad dhal gay.......taroun ke dam nikal gay
phooloun ke haath jal gay.....................kaisay ye aftab thay
umar is tazad mein.........................rezaq-e-guhabar ho gie
jesam tha aur azaab thay......ankhien thien aur khawab thay
subah huie aur shaher ke..........shoar mein youn bekhar gay
jaisay woh adamie na thay.........naqash-o-negar-o-aab thay
aankhoun mein khoon bhar gay...rastoun mein hi bekhar gay
aanay se pehlay mar gay...................aesay bhi inkalab thay

Considering that I didn’t understand half the terms, I’d still say 
beautiful. Could you guys start a reference guide on Poetry for useless people like us who need to know some basic poetic vocabulary, terms, etc?
