After Zee Zindagi another Indian channel have also started running Pakistani content – the next in the queue is Colors TV.
The channel airs Aasmano Pe Likha starring Shehreyar Munawar and Sajal Ali every Friday and Saturday at 5pm UAE time. It was earlier reported that drama would run on Indian Channel Rishtey from May 17 but it is now on Colors TV.
Directed by Mohsin Mirza and produced by A&B Productions the drama was first aired on Geo Television and received critical acclaim for its romantic scenes and stellar performances.
Aasmano Pe Likha is the story of an accidental marriage between carefree affluent boy Aaliyan (Sheheryar Munawar) with middle class girl Qudsiya (Sajal Ali) whose parents failed to fulfill her in-laws hefty dowry demands. Initially the boy doesn’t take the marriage too seriously but with time love finds its way.

This drama during its run on Geo Television hit the highest ratings and is expected to do the same on Colors TV too.
At present Sheheryar Munawar’s Zindagi Gulzar Haiis also air on Zee Zindagi and it is expected that the same channel will soon run his debut play Kahi Ankahee.
