I have specifically joined this forum to talk about this Aapna Channel. I think it is pretty good in terms of quality and presentation. I happen to know some of the people behind it quite well and have been passing all your comments on to them, it is something us Mirpuris should be proud of and that includes all Gujarkhanis, potoharis and people from Mansehra Abbottabad region as this channel is for us. Do post your comments here once you have seen it as these people are very keen to learn what people think and very open to ideas and suggestions.

Yes it seems good quality and presentation, well at least much better than the crap DM Digital.
Official launch will be on April 23rd with a mega launch party in Mirpur.
Regular Transmission will be starting today .
Currently they have a LIVE programme called Jee Bismillah, which will be followed by the regular transmission
They also mention that they will be added very soon to the EPG.

How do you like the Aapna Channel guys, I went to their studios today and there was a definite buzz about the place. Is it any good? what can they do to make it fulfill people's aspirations?
Did any1 watch the drama mehndi laan de or somet lyk dat last night it was well funny ma mum n dad wer watchin it so I had 2 watch it aswell

I think it would be AMAZING if there were film crews going down different parts of the UK where there are loads of azad kashmiri comunities and interviewing them, no1's really done that have they? And they could try appealing to the younger generation cuz theres an audience of us who love speaking our language and we want to pass it on to our kids!

Aapna crew will being around the country, they have been recording various programmes throught out the country, just give them time.

Yes I did see the drama, yes it was really good.
It was in pahari language, it was shot in around the pir panchal area.
The story is by Ali Adaalat (who appeared on Jee Bismillah between 19.00 until 20.00 BST on Aapna Channel.

I don't blame him - if I was home I during the day I would do the same. I think it will improve and get much better..............
