Aap ko kuch hogya to...

Wife: Apna bohat khayaal rakhiye ga. Mujhey aap ki bohat fikar hoti hai aur dar lagta hai.

Husband: Nahin, to kiya sirf mujhey hi sab kuch hona hoga ?!?! Tum apna khayaal nahin rakhtein, aur har waqat meri fikar ?!?

Is it the fact that most of the men in the graveyard have ages in the range of 45-60 and most women have ages in the range of 65-80 that makes wives sooooooo worried about their husbands all the time, no matter how much they take care ?!?

Or is it that wives are more loving and caring as compared to husbands ?!?!

p.s. My wife tells me this a hundred times before I leave the house

Re: Aap ko kuch hogya to...

She loves you. When she says it , she has no statistics in front of her. She says it our of her love and affection for you not because she expects to outlive you.

Re: Aap ko kuch hogya to...

^ I know brother :) you are right. I am not offended by what she says, but I was just pointing out as it sounds funny that mostly wives worry too much about their husbands as if nothing can happen to themselves. Bhai zindagi aur maut to Allah ke haath mein hai.

Re: Aap ko kuch hogya to...

Husbands are equally concerned and watchful to their wives' well being. They are not too vocal aboout that. Men and women have different ways of expressing feelings and emotions.

When you leave the house brother STP, and bhabhi asks you to take care of yourself, that is her way of expressing her love. Your leaving the house is your way of expressing love as you are going to work to earn halal money for your family that will help them to be healthy and prosperous

^ Beautifully said. I agree that we husbands are usually a bit shy in expressing our feelings in words, may be because we feel that at times feelings might loose their value when put to words. Actions speaks louder than words. Our expressions and the way we deal with them in daily life matters speaks for itself. But of course words should also be used with wisdom at the right time to express our feelings.
