I just stick my finger in my ear role it around take it out and make a batti using index finger of that gunk and just toss it on the floor .

Kind of like first method in this video:

In Pakistan they used to sell kaan saaf karnay ka chamcha and daant saaf karnay key salai which people use for years and years. It is made of copper.
