How many of you played Aankh micholi in your childhood?

I think the game is universally popular and followed in almost all the cultures.

I think we follow childhood games all the life. Childhood hide and seek is played in later part of the life. Leaving your land and relationships behind for earning bread and butter and better life and visiting your country after a long break is another form of hide and seek.

yes, we did play a lot...actually this was one of the most played game. we had huge homes in my village so ample spaces were available for hiding...i remember i hid myself for about two hours...i was hungry and it was hot in that crevice in the outer walls of the house...i finally gave up when most finders gave up...lol!

Yes big homes with many rooms increase fun to this game. Our Dada’s house was quite big and have a garden area alongwith BaaRaa for buffaloes. There was a room, where they use to store hay. It was famous that room was haunted and no one dared to go in the room even in day time. But that was my favorite place to hide. :hehe:

What are other names of this game? I think different people use different names for this. Some people call it 'Chhuppan chhupai'.
