Aamir Khan won’t be one of the 20 superstars to feature on Yash Raj Films’ first TV show, Lift Kara De, a show that unites India’s superstars with their biggest fans.

Why isn’t he on the list? Well the actor and the production house did have issues when he was approached for Darr, a film that eventually went to Shah Rukh Khan. But they buried the hatchet when Aamir did Fanaah with YRF.
And Aamir is definitely among the best players in the business. And with 3 Idiots taking a huge opening, is top-of-the-mind. It is not clear if the actor wasn’t approached at all or if he declined it. Says a Yash Raj spokesperson, "Aamir is not among the 20.
Yash Raj reached out to several stars and we are happy that many agreed to come on our show Lift Kara De. Some regrettably were unable to do so because of prior commitments. We do look forward to having them with us going forward."
Despite attempts to reach him, Aamir remained unavailable for comment.
