In a country where a dictator is sent home with a guard of honor after putting it through the worst crisis in the history. In the process killing God known how many people along with sending its citizens to foriegn countries for money. Now we have a president who some think killed his wife and was embroiled in murder and massive corruption cases. A chief justice who made sure his daughter recieved extra points on her exams, the list goes on and on. Mohammad Asif made mistakes, 2 very costly mistakes. However in our country as we see the law is only applied to certain individuals. In my opinion if shoaib akhtar after his shinanigans can get a central contract and be in A category, why cant Muhammad Asif be given another chance.

What is wrong is wrong, we should learn to respect the good actions (which are rare anyways). The lower we move the bar, lower will be the moral values.

im just saying that the law should apply to everyone. Asif is not the poster boy for trouble if we are looking at this in pakistan cricket context. Shoaib Akhtar is. but he managed to land a central contract.

all the names you have mentioned were/are ppl of authority and power. both these things breed corruption. wht kind of authority/power do you think mohd. asif has? after all is done and dusted...he is just a sportsman in the end..a mere cricketer. do you really think any one gives a chuwani about him? agar kisi ne kuch kerna hota to abb tak ker na chuka hota?
