Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

I use similar recipe, just that after making the balls, i oil them. And i don't use flour while rolling. If really needed, i use oil. The puri's never turn crispy.

^ thanks i will give it a try using the oil method, to be honest i do use loads of flour to stop it sticking!!

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Steamed oriental medley of vegetables with cheese sauce from Walmart.

That would be disastrous. Just oil it.

Post the recipe of Khayali pullao

How did u make them ?***

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

quesdilla's recipe???Thanks for asking :D Here is the recipe..I only added the taco seasoning mix while stir frying the chicken mixture.. rest was all the same..

2 tablespoons oil
1/4 cup onions, chopped
1 small garlic clove, minced
1/4 cup bell peppers, chopped
2 chili peppers (to taste), minced
3 plum tomatoes, chopped
oil for frying
8 flour tortillas
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2 cups cooked chicken (I boiled and shredded it)
salsa
sour cream

In a medium-heavy skillet, saute the onions, garlic and peppers until soft in the 2 tablespoons oil. Add the chili peppers and tomatoes and simmer for a few minutes more. Add the chicken and stir well to combine. Heat a thin layer of oil in a heavy medium-size pan over medium-low heat. Place a tortilla in the pan and sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese. Add about a quarter of the chicken mixture and top with another 1/4 cup cheese. Cover with another tortilla and cook for two to three minutes or until golden brown. Flip the quesadilla over and cook for an additional two minutes. Remove from the heat and cut into wedges. Keep warm while frying the remaining quesadillas. Serve with salsa and sour cream.

Cake.. husband baked the cake from scratch so I am not sure exactly what he did.. baking is his expertise! :-(

I usually do my own thing..and dont measure at all :woho:
For the patty I had minced chicken+lemon juice+chilli powder+chilli flakes+salt+garam masala+chaat masala+crushed green chillies - Mix everything together and form the patty shape and fry it for 2-3 mins. Thats it
Hope that helps
