Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Today I made some bhindi for myself (hubby doesn’t like them). I ate it with turkish bread :yummy:
Btw, it’s fun eating in the garden

Tomorrow it’s the first day of my diet. So boring food from now on! :-p

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

How did I miss this post?
I love bhindi.hubby is meat lover so he want meat in everything.
so we always get bindhi ghosht and bangain ghost etc but tomorrow i am going to make bhindi with alot of onions .

Thanks for this thread .it’s kind of giving me ideas of what to cook everyday. I am always worrying about "aaj kya pakayooN "

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

shinoo how do you make your chicken tikka?? it looks yummmmmmmy!

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Jias and ayesha; I’ll post the salad recipe’s tomorrow.
Mehroo; thanks  This thread is a really helping me out aswell! Like I’m gonna make tahiri this week, for the first time. I love bhindi with lots of onions (but no meat).

Ruiner; I cheated with the chicken tikka’s :-p I used Shan tandoori masala BBQ. One pack was meant for 2 kg of chicken legs. I used one pack for 3 kg of chicken breasts cuz I always find Shan to be too tez masala. They turned out lovely though, very soft and tasty

I had the leftover bhindi today. For hubs I made potatoes with beef, gravy and veggies.

Here are the ingredients, you can use these in whatever quantity u like!

Baby potatoes, skinless boiled
Peas, boiled

Dressing: mayonaise, black pepper, salt, lemonjuice

Bulgur salad:
Bulgur, cooked

PS. Karhai looking Yummilicous!

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

i know its not steak..steak needs fillets of beef...but i meant to say did u use the same marination for the chunks as we do for steak or its just boiled and then stir-fried?

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

shinz...tuna has a particular yukky smell...in this salad did u experience any or with lemon juice that has eliminated?
