Disenfranchisement.....heavy sense of being under siege and a few are just ****ing nuts. But there are underlying socio-economic causes that give credence and support to terrorists. In that regard Al Qaeda by Jason Burke is a brilliant start.

As far as literature goes, read the books by Robert Fisk. He's a journalist who quotes facts and figures in his books that will explain how, when and why this polarization and the resulting anti-Western movement began and continues to this day. Brilliant work.

i believe its not the musalman who is terrorist...but there is a group of people working behind the veil...jo musalmanoun ko dehshat gardi kaey nam pae use kar rahey hain...there are hidden forces involved behind terrorism and they are targetting islam and muslims under this veil.

Because, their killings were not in the name of Jesus Chirst or in the name of any Hindu God. They did not glorify Chirstianity and hinduism and justified that their actions are in the name of Hinduism and Chistianity.

Whereas most of muslim terrorists glorify Islam and they openly proclaim to be mujahids of Allah while they kill/behead and explode bombs.

See the video of any muslim suicide bomber before he goes to his mission. How many times he says "Allah o Akbar", "He is going to Jannat", "he is doing in the name of Allah".

See the video of any LTTE suicide bombers. Not even once they bring Heaven or God into the scene.

Thats how "Islamic terrorists" was coined by the media. Why do you blame the media, when these terrorist are killing muslims and non muslims in the name of Islam.
