ok so what difference do u c in today’s kids and when u were a kid?
i think i was a pretty dumb kid.ammi ne jahan betha diya wahin bethay rehtay the:rolleyes:but i c a difference in kids today.some girl kissed my cousin whos just 3.5 and he was like k main abhi tumhare papa ko batata hoon ,tum ne mujhe kiss ki hai:hayaa: and threatened me many times k Papa ko bata doon ga:mad:
Well i cant say about everyone but whenever i compare our (me n my siblings) childhood with the kids of now i get shocked. LOL but that could just be that our parents were very particular about making sure we were well mannered and disciplined which kids nowadays lack. I am shocked to see that nowadays neither parent have any control over the kids. I mean yes we must not torture our kids or pressurize them too much but the parents should have control over the kids. But nowadays kids give a damn to their parents and from 5 year onwards they know a-z of everything. And i see parents being proud of the fact that "see he/she is not even scared of us...hehehe" lol. Thats all weird and i think kids nowadays are loosing their innocence way too soon.
As Perveen Shakir Said for the generation before us:
Jugnu ko din kee roshni maiN parakhnaY kee zid karaiN
BachaY hamaaaaraY E’hd kaY chaaaaaalaaaaK ho gaye
That was for that time so imagine what children have become now really with the exposure to so many things at early age like the sort of cartoons they have and the one liners in them… We only saw cartoons likes of Pink Panther that even did not have a word:D
It’s been always like that.. Kids say the darndest things… But I am amazed to see how children have really become … I have a 5 years old neice and she is a total “daadi ammaN” character… with the face expression, dancing of finger all around, seriousness on the face and teaching elders how to do certain things… It’s cute in a way but alarming for the future
Kids are not born with the mannerism and attitude they show. They learn from their surroundings. Parents, neighbor , relatives , school , friends , TV.
the other day my four year daughter came from school and said ..my classfellow (boy) say u r not suppose to wear full shirts your belly button should show..as does kareena kapoor’s in tashan… main tou:smack:
mein to bohat masoom thi and meri beti abhi se tez hai Mashallah manners bohat hain magar she is smart sometimes I like this thing kyoon bewaqoof hona koii achi baat nahi
to tell u more abt that kid, he was just too imaginative and this could be the cartoons impact.har baat jin say shroo hoti thi ,that wud eat up some one among his family and it wud end with a mukka(where i used to find really him cute) killing the freaking jin .
oh and once i was lying pretending to be unconcious and his reply was nai is pay say gari guzar gai hai ,mar gai hai. chalo aao isay dosakh main phaik aain:smack:
most resident pakistani kids are scary, period! aisa jawab de teiN haiN ke insaan hakka bakka kharHa reh jae … compare that to the kids I see here, who still retain a healthy degree of innocence and what not.
I dont know if its the fact that most ppl in pakistan live in a joint family system so kids learn from the adults surrounding them, or the fact that the “dish” has polluted their minds (some parents are so ignorant of the trash their kids view on those channels!)
like my cousin was telling me; her son (1.5 yr old) kissed his girl cousin (new born) on the cheek… only to have another cousin (4 yr old) say “yeh kya tumhari wife hai kya?” i mean its sickening that such a thought even came to this 4 yr old’s mind! and the only thing that his (dheet) parents could do was to laugh and enjoy the joke!
