So have the preview of Aag tv going on these days so watched it for like half an hour. During commercial breaks they have this set of interviews of normal people talking about why it is okay for Pakistani artists to go to India and release their work there. What really peeved me off was why were they only showing one side of the argument? which was yes we should go to India and it doesnt matter if our work is then recognized as Indian instead of Pakistani…
Also, another argument was that our artists don’t get as much recognition in Pakistan until they get fame in India etc. which I think is such BS. A lot of our most popular bands and singers did not need Indian recognition in order for us to reognize them.
I don’t have a problem with our Pakistani artists going to India and working with Indian artists, but for Aag tv to provide such a one sided propaganda type argument just really got to me!
i really like aag tv but yeah the whole on sided argument was kind of annoying but on another note as a society we love atif aslam more than shehzad roy
people on these forums may not like annie but she has a huge fan following in pakistan just cuz mahiya was in an indian movie
shehzad roy, hadiqa, freiha, etc. etc. etc. are nothing compared to atif aslam and the only reason why atif got fame is india
and yeah i hate the mahira show but i really like navins show aag radio one is really cool and different

Actually the other day they had interviews about the other side of the argument, the band members of Karavan were talking about how Call has become big in india but now there music is not really Rock so they are loosing popularity in Pakistan
^ hahahaha true but she aslo seems like just an all around good girl, shes very down to earth and a perfect vj personality unlike some of the other vjs who are either extremely boring (alishba) or extremely hyper and irritating (mahira, aeysha omer, anoushay) or extremely s l uty like that new ary chick(i really hate her)
what about Jal the band? they did quite well before going to india for their song "chalte chalte" right?

I really liked Aag... dont know how it is now cuz i dont have the channel anymore :(
But i really liked the shows like, meter down, lafangaa and some others. And what i liked the most was probably the songs they played, top 10 etc. ooohhh... i miss Aag!
i like aag ..they have done some really positive constructive shows too ..invoked a lot of awareness in today;s youth..but i hav ALWAYS had a problem with their being too much indianized ..and being totally PRO-INDIA...

well have you people ever watched IQBAL KA PAKISTAN on Aag TV? i think tht is a GREAT show..dr zaid hamid is an amazing influential person ..
