Those who don’t know what AAG TV is, it’s a music channel by GEO.

i love teh punjabi totays from this channel, those are funny they show them on geo.

The channel wasnt worth all the promos it had (painted busses, buildings, whatnot).
Its just music of all kind...not something I'd enjoy with the whole family.

And why is there a need for another music channel? Indus Music and The Muzik are more than enough, considering that there really are not THAT many good artists in Pakistan.

its just a music channel? i thought it was "noujawano ka channel" with shows..not just music. and the punjabi thing is hilarious! so when is it gonna come on Dish?

Aag TV has a lot of music played but also it has it's fair share of other programmes.
Pappu Yaar Tang Na Kar is a talk show tackling social problems.
Amna Haq Show is a entertainment based talk show.
Meter TV shows funny/goofs videos sent in by viewers.
Aag Shorts allows young film makers to showcase their master pieces.
Ishrat Baji is a comedy serial.
Cell 224 is a show whereby they interrograte a famous personality (the episode where Meera was invited was hilarious).
Tribes is a computer based tournament.
There are others that include a music quiz show, and various segments covering different topics (Punjaabi, Behave, Aagtionary, Cosmo Tips, Freedom Booth, Desi Bol, Mind Your Language).
I think it is an excellent channel and is soo much better than The Musik. I think GEO has done a brilliant job with this channel.
What does I'm Kool mean by saying "there are not THAT many good artist in Pakistan" - I think Pakistan has one of the best music scene in the world.
The popularity of Pakistani music in Bollywood just proves how good we are!!!!!

What does I'm Kool mean by saying "there are not THAT many good artist in Pakistan" - I think Pakistan has one of the best music scene in the world. The popularity of Pakistani music in Bollywood just proves how good we are!!!!!
Uhh....whatever. Fact is that even with the recent explosion of musical talent in the country, the sheer number of the quality bands and artists is still no where near the amount that would warrant so many music channels. I watch the Muzik and IM on a regular basis and the number of videos on constant rotation gets extremely irritating after a while. Its the same deal with regular Pakistani channels. TV stations are popping up everywhere like mushrooms yet there really are not enough actors to satisfy this artificial demand.

Coz they think they are savior of Pakistan. So they have right to do what they like. Thats why they were taken off the air. Now they learn the lesson hard way.. So its coming back... Welcome .. Geo .................. "hath paoon baachaa kar geo" .. :D
