^^ True but these foreign ministers use to support them fully.. now let see what happens... anyway, this thread and my posts were regarding Afia... where both foriegn ministers were enjoying drinks with their counter parts when the poor soul was sold and later sentenced... or may be because they have been dry-cleaned, all their sins including this one is not worthy of discussion

As far as drone attacks are concerned according to wikipedia 296 of them have been carried out in all, out of which 9 were carried out in Musharraf’s period (3% of all attacks). This government is responsible for 97 % of drone attacks (SMQ was the foreign minister for almost 76 % of them, after his resignation 60 drone attacks have been carried so far which makes up 21 % of the total). Anyhow it means SMQ is more responsible (76 %) for the total drone attacks and not very long ago NS wanted to have him in his party. We have also seen the statements of both the army chief and the PM regarding drone attacks as per wikipedia. The mentality of the army and the ones leading the government need to be changed to put an end to the drone attacks :

Just because NS wanted to have SMQ in his party doesn't change this fact (at least to me) that SMQ has his hand in the suffering of Afia and Drone attacks... Period!!!

If anyone thinks that the wrong doing of SMQ, or Qasoori have turned into good and they have change of heart and mind just because they have jumped of from some sinking ship then that is what we called slave mentality to the least..

I don't know why our nation lack the moral courage to call wrong thing wrong...

What I am saying why haven't the drone attacks stopped after both of them were kicked out? There are over 60 drone attacks since smq left office, although there were some lulls in this period due to Raymond Davis issue, obl and the salala killings.

^^ So you saying the the Masoom SMQ have nothing to do with drone attacks and his interview where he supported these attacks was just some bakwaas propoganda by his opponents and the person in the interview is not even SMQ, i know you have to defend him... continue to do so!!!

Of course it doesn't change the fact, but it also shows how any other party is willing to accept him into his party, no matter how good or bad that is.


That was his sin to be part of a government which supported drone attacks, Kerry-Lugar bill and what not and it will remain as black spot on his career. The only credit he deserves is that eventually he stood up for what he believed was right i.e. Raymond Davis case.

^^ The other brave leader who took stand against PPP govt is Jamshed Dasti who resigned from his seat and party membership just because some govt official helping him stealing electircity was transferred!!! he should be praised as well... after all he was not stealing it for himself only, he did it for his hardcore supporters of his constituency...

What do drone attacks have to do with Ray Davis? I can bet that even staunch pro-drone crowd wasn't in favor of the CIA man.

As for getting on the topic, I seriously don't have good words for a person who got a neuroscience degree to waste her life away hanging with the alqaeda crowd even if she didn't do all of what is she is accused of.

Whether she did the crime or not, the fact remains that she's been in a US prison for a long time and has now turned up pregnant. I highly doubt she gave her consent for what the prison guards have done to her. It's sick and i'm shocked that there is no protest over this. If there is a Dutch drawing, people go onto the streets and burn buildings down, but when something like this assault happens, people are silent. That's what is most disturbing. When Mukhtar Mai was assaulted, the US really came down hard on Pakistan (and rightly so), but in this case ... silence. Not a word by any Pakistani official. Nobody, other than Aamir Liaquat, even discussed this t.v. You can hate him all you want, but at least he speaks up when others are silent.

you appear to be much better versed on the matter than me.......though I fail to understand your persistence when you can't categorically say what they knew and what they didn't and whether or not they resisted.

when a government is known to be corrupt from the top down then I don't expect individuals to lay their lives on the line......

Her family members are saying she is pregnant and also has cancer. The fact that the Pakistani officials are not denying it is a red flag.

by change you mean changing party... don't worry.. they are good at it... and as we all know, once they are in PTI.. no matter what kind of crime or sin they might have committed is forgiven by his holiness Illama Molana Hazrat Imran Ullah Khan Niazi Londonwalay... and licsence for new sin and crime will be issued which will be used when ready to be used..

Examples are Qasoori and Qureshi who were once the seller of Dr.Afia and now sit under her portray and talk about Ghairat and Izat!!!
