Few days back, a blog entry brought many memories back after listening to Noon Meem Rashid’s famous poem in the voice of Zia Mohiuddin.

So, couple of days back I recorded it in my voice too… then, ended up making a video out of it. This is my first attmept to create a video file although it only has one static image :smiley:

***GREAT ! and strangely I always visualised your voice as it exactly turned out. ***

The variations and tempo of the voice were okay…but may need some fine tunning going forward…an consiering that you are not exactly from show_biz where before final takes of such eliveries and recitals are backed by huge rehearsals under the directions of huge Directors etc., I thought you have done not only well but far better.

You do have a melodious voice…a serene type and you must capitalize of such renderations going forward.

BTW…I am one of the audience of Zia Moheyuddin’s original recital of Noon Meem Rashid’s classic…at Zehra Nigah and her husband Majid Ali’s Knightsbridge London apartment way back in 1979..during my visit there with my Dad. Rekha from India was there too besies Aparna Sen and Pinchoo Kapoor.

Haich actually means something that is very low in quantity, quality, attributes etc.
