A Wrinkle in Time

Imagine that there is a time-machine, which can travel backwards in time (the past) or forward (the future). Eventual return to current time is inevitable, but you are allowed only 1 destination.

1) Would you travel into the future? If so...what would you want to see? Would you be brave enough to visit your own future or would you rather it remain a mystery?

or...

2) Would you prefer going back into the past? If so....would it be to an era you've always been fascinated by? Or perhaps to learn more about a mysterious event? Or maybe to your own childhood or that of your parents, etc?

I will still be in future eventually without using the time machine so would want to visit the past & have more fun than I did before.

I would go back in time to January 2012, give a hug to my devastated self over losing a person I was very close to and offer some life changing advice.

I would defo go back in the past and fix some serious sh!t not to see it again in life.

Even that can be skipped if I just go back in the childhood and make sure time stands still. Nobody lets me grow up

I would go back to my childhood and grandparents’ house!

I would like going back to when I was 16 years old and “fix” some of the life altering decisions that I had to make that have affected who I am today.

Well from an Astrophysical view point the past, present and the future are all occurring simultaneously depending upon the reference point of the viewer in the cosmos, but for the sake of discussion I would just travel back around some three months back and put right to a few things i have done wrong recently.

P.S ‘the wrinkle in time’ you suggested is actually a Wormhole.

For me, I am more concerned about afterlife, so yes I would like to see me in future → Jannah (inshaALLAH)..
