i am attending my first ‘white’ wedding in 23 years… but dont know what to wear…

is it wrong to wear black?

White is for the bride. Unless you are the bride, I am sure you can wear whatever you fancy.

i see... just checking cus my friend (whose going with me) said they wear black for funerals..

Of course it is ok. If it's a nice night dress, yeh. Just make sure you don't make out burka as qualifying for black dress.

Waisay, go with either silver or light skin colored one instead. But of course, you'd still have to give me the preview to recommend final touch-ups.

Oh for the love of God. Don't wear black unless you're have a stunning outfit that hugs you and gently falls to your ankles embroiderd on the bottom or not. Try galactic blue or something in maroon, beige, even pink will do. But don't do the same colour as the bridesmaid.

Sadzzz, black is acceptable but if I were you, I wouldn't wear it. It's too morose for a wedding. Wear something a bit more festive. It doesn't have to be a fluorescent pink or anything :D but this isn't exactly a funeral either. Best of luck deciding on the color and outfit.

thanx sweetpie... im gonna see whether i can find a nice beige top or even maroon to match my shawl... and i'll prob wear brown pants and get some brown heals.... does that sounds gross?
