A very silly song

Please no one make fun of me for posting this up :o :o It’s a silly kid’s song that used to be popular in the '80s, from that movie Masoom (Shabana Azmi and Naseeruddin Shah, i think?). i last heard this song when i was 9 years old, so it’s been 14 years since i heard it. Just came across it last night.

One of my Phuppis in Islamabad used to sing this song with all us kids - my cousins, siblings and i. All i remember is dancing to this song when i was like 7 years old, long hot summer days in Islamabad, playing ‘coh coh’, daring each other to go up on the ‘chat’ (roof) after our Phuppi used to scare us by telling us jinn stories, and listening to this song and singing along with it. i know the lyrics are really really silly :o Keep in mind they were meant for kids so the lyrics do not necessarily have to make sense :o

CocoNut, yep… you can definitely say that again. This song brings back a lot of memories for me… dancing, holding hands in a circle with my cousins, singing this song again and again, with no cares in the world.
