It was a sad shock to all of us, as it is to all those who are reading this. Please keep him and his family in your special prayers that may Allah give them the strength to go through these tough times of life!
Sad news indeed. May Allah bless his father with jannah and forgive his sins. And give Hasnain power to cope with great loss!

Even our moment of death has been determined, after which our actions will stop and we'll not benefit from any new action of ours (except some deeds whose effect remains even after our death).

** On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. ** It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith.

What happens when we're dead? The irony is that all our questions will be answered after we die. We spend our whole life trying to figure out the truth and the only way we'll find out what it is, is to get hit by a bus. And the only comfort that religion offers is that God is driving that bus.

A friend reminded me of the death of the Prophet's son Ibraheem, when the Prophet was crying so much that his blessed tears wet his beard, and he said, "Our hearts are sad, and yet we do not say anything except that which pleases our Lord! Verily to Allaah we belong and to Him we will all return! Indeed, we are very saddened by your loss O Ibraheem!"
May Allaah - subhaan wa ta'aala - forgive my father and have mercy on him.
