jang has a pretty well-stocked archive of columns for last 7 years or so by each day. just go back in in the past randomly and read some columns. a very interesting and nostalgic experience

Its good to have a public access to these columns. But is it only me who thinks 7 yrs arent much to preserve the columns for.. i mean it should be there for last 15 yrs. The archiving technology isnt that new

agreed but other urdu newspapers dont even have 7 years.
last night i read some old columns of irshaad ahmad haqaani…there is no columnist who had more impact on our political intelligentsia, army and bureaucratic establishment, common people and academic circles. from zia to musharaff, everyone used to wait for his column
by 2008 he was already close to 80 years old but he was still producing compact analysis. he was an institution in himself. May god bless his soul.
