A very important question

Who should leave the trash bags/wheelers outside for trash collecting vehicles? Husband or wife?

It may not be so important to most of you but this is really really important to me because my husband always says that every man should treat his wife as a princess. So, is it okay for a wife to put the bin bags outside?

Re: A very important question

Your husband is screwing the rest of mankind over with such talk. Tell him....don't walk down any dark alleys in Darfur.

Re: A very important question

my dad usually does that job. we jokingly call him 'the binman'

Re: A very important question

Re: A very important question

My brother *always *does it. So i guess it shud be MEN!

Re: A very important question

after all it is 'binmen' not 'binwomen'

why should?

I concur!!! :halo:

But I thought it was very nice of him.

Oh my…you guys should learn from him.

Seriously, do you guys make your women to do this job?

Re: A very important question

This is a job for the guys. I HATE this job when I have to do it. I will when necessary - like hubby away or working late. But if he or nephew are home and available, I resorted to just leaving it, let it pile up, overflow and stink up the kitchen until one of them gets the idea.

oh and ps. when this is the case, I make sure to clean out the refrigerator of old food, it just adds that special nasal message "HEY THIS PLACE STINKS - DO SOMETHING!!!!"

no job is good or bad. A job which is bad for women is also bad for men. haan if you girls dont make us cook and help in kitchen, we will happily do the bin job

Re: A very important question

Whoever was around when it needed doing, did the job. However, it kind of developed into a role for Mr Halwa, who now empties the bin as a matter of course. When it comes to moving the wheelie bin out in time for weekly collection, usually our neighbour does both his and ours... Cos we have nice neighbours.

I think women are capable of doing the job, but it suits a man better... :p

Re: A very important question

why does it have to be one specific person, jo uss waqt kar sakta hai kar dey :k:

Re: A very important question

men!

along with vacuuming n dishes!

Re: A very important question

Men - end of discussion

Re: A very important question

I do it. I take the trash out. Everytime. I tried but my husband just won't do it.. I don't mind though.
And I agree anyone can do it. Does it really matter who does it??

Be mindful of your nice neighbor he/she is up to something.
If you and your husbands where 80 year old geezers I would accept that neighbor to be a nice neighbor.:p

And in answer to your question. Till your kids are little ones live in an apartment so that you do not have to worry about who takes out the trash. Once they are old enough to do that job then move to a house and they will do it for you if they want their weekly allowance.

Re: A very important question

Dude's job period. No women from my house is going to no dark alley or to back yard at night.

Re: A very important question

HUSBAND should wheel them out - no question because they are heavy and stinky

but I’ll wheel them in if I feel up to it - or they are blocking the driveway :snooty:

Where do you live?? Ghetto??
