‘Vajpayee incited Babri Mosque demolition’ Saturday 01 Saffar 1426
The liberal and moderate image of former Indian prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee suffered a setback when the Congress-led Indian government last week submitted Vajpayee’s 12-year-old audiotape to the Liberhan Commission, probing the demolition of Babri Mosque.
The tape showed that it was actually Vajpayee who had incited Hindu fanatics to raze the mosque to ground. The tape recorded Mr Vajpayee telling a meeting of the ‘kar sevaks’ in Lucknow before the demolition that he did not know what will happen tomorrow. The meeting was recorded by a columnist with the RSS and only a ‘dak’ edition of Hindi daily had run the speech on the morning of the demolition.
The tape… was then forgotten until the Indian Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) dug it out.
The Babri Masjid Action Committee (BMAC) plans to use the tape as evidence of Vajpayee’s prior knowledge of the demolition. The committee convener, Zafar Jilani, has said in Lucknow that the tape carried passages encouraging the people to demolish the mosque.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a renowned Hindu extremist (and the scum still is) and what did the majority of Hindu people think of him? Elect him offcourse twice in National elections first and then in the local elections!
