This was my first trip to a dentist since I have moved to UK and I was pretty shocked by what I saw. I am not sure if it’s just me?
I have been to many dentists in Canada and I feel like the quality of care and service is farr more better in Canada than over here.
To start off, there was only one working toilet and that had no light…then there was no soap!! and this is supposed to be a proper dentist office…
I was in total pain with a toothache for the last 2 days because I couldnt get an appointment earlier than that and when I do get there on time…I had to wait 30 minutes to see the dentist…she takes an Xray and tells me to come again another time to get it fixed because they are closing!!! and they arent open on the weekends …so 2 more days with pain…and when i share my concern…she tells me to take pain killers! like wth??
I have already stuffed myself with pain killers for the past few days and I am pissed like anything…I feel like going back to Canada!
Canada is far better than any country you can ever visit in Europe. Sure, there might be some scenery which u can only find in Europe.. Canada from far east to far west is like second heaven. ;)
actually brits dont have bad teeth, britain beats the pants off Canada when it comes to edentulousness..and in the studies regarding missing decyaed and fileld teeth in recent surveys UK does much better than US.U in older population..US is better than both btw.
Not only that when you look at younger populations, Brits best American 12-year-olds by a score of 1.1 to 1.4 (lower is better), according to the World Health Organization.
Pakistanis on the other hand are considered third world in that area as well.

How about doing some research on the provider you are going to see. all professionals are not created equal. There is a reason brits have better dental health than canadians, and that is because of better care system. You ran into one bad provider, next time do some research.
